CR is an offshore wind farm project certification body, accredited under ISO/IEC 17065, and a member of BSMI(Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection, M.O.E.A.) offshore wind farm project certification review committee. CR has successfully executed project certifications for major offshore wind farm projects, including the Taiwan Power Company Phase 2 project.
CR provides comprehensive support to clients, including evaluation of domestic regulations and development risks. With our in-depth knowledge of Taiwan's unique environment, we offer services covering various modules such as site conditions assessment, design basis evaluation, integrated load analysis, wind turbine/RNA and support structure design evaluation, wind turbine/RNA and support structure manufacturing surveillance, transportation and installation surveillance, commissioning surveillance, operation and maintenance surveillance, etc. These services are aimed at helping clients in effectively managing project risks.
In order to assure renewable energy generating unit can produce the power safely and stably, CR together with competent authority started to stipulate “離岸風力發電運轉及維護技術指引Technical Guideline for Operation and Maintenance of Offshore Wind Farm”. This Technical Guideline is stipulated with consideration about Taiwanese local special site condition and local challenges, including typhoon, corrosion, earthquake, special soil condition, etc.; and also combine the international and local regulations and standards. This Technical Guideline will be an important reference for operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms in Taiwan.
