<\/p>\n

In view of different international conventions, various types of surveys are required to be conducted, and relevant international convention certificates and reports, issued. They can be divided into five categories, which are outlined as follows:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

A. \u6839\u64da\u201d1966\u5e74\u570b\u969b\u8f09\u91cd\u7dda\u516c\u7d04\u201d\u4e4b\u898f\u5b9a\u800c\u57f7\u884c\u4e4b\u6aa2\u9a57\uff0c\u53ef\u5206\u70ba\u63db\u8b49\u6aa2\u9a57(Renewal Survey)\u53ca\u5e74\u5ea6\u6aa2\u9a57(Annual Survey)<\/h6>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(1) The Renewal Survey is carried out every 5 years. An interim certificate valid for 5 months may be issued by a site surveyor upon satisfactory completion of a survey. We will reissue a full-term certificate with the validity not exceeding 5 years.
(2) The annual survey is carried out every year within 3 months either way of each anniversary date.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

B. For surveys carried out in accordance with the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea 1974 and the provisions of relevant amendments, the following four certificates shall be issued to ships as the SOLAS Convention covers a wider scope:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(1) Cargo Ship Safety Construction Certificate
(2) Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Certificate
(3) Cargo Ship Safety Radio Certificate
(4) Document of Compliance\/ Safety Management Certificate (DOC\/SMC) : This will be detailed in ISM
(5) ISSC : This will be detailed in ISPS<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1. As the SOLAS Convention has been repeatedly amended, the mandatory codes amended include the following:<\/h6>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(1) FSS Code (Chapter II-2)
(2) FTP Code (Chapter II-2)
(3) LSA Code (Chapter III)
(4) ISM Code (Chapter IX)
(5) GRAIN Code (Chapter VI)
(6) IBC Code , IGC Code , INF Code (Chapter VII)
(7) HSC Code (Chapter X)
(8) ISPS Code(Chapter XI-2)
(9) IMDG Code (Chapter VII)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

2. As different rules and regulations apply to different ship types, relevant certificates are required to be provided, eg:<\/h6>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

(1) The International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk ( IBC Code )or the Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Dangerous Chemicals in Bulk (BCH Code) shall apply to chemical tankers, and an IBC Certificate,or a BCH Certificate, shall be issued.
(2) The International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk(IGC Code) shall apply to gas carriers, and an IGC Certificate shall be issued.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

3. For surveys carried out in accordance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 and amendments, they are included in the requirements of Cargo Safety Equipment; therefore, relevant certificates will not be issued.<\/h6>\n

<\/p>\n

4. Relevant certificates and survey intervals are as follows:<\/p>\n

C. For surveys carried out in accordance with the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships 1973\/1978 (MARPOL 73\/78) and amendments, a total of six annexes to this convention, which involve the prevention of pollution by oil, noxious liquid substances, pollution by harmful substances carried by sea in package form, sewage, garbage and air, have become effective successively.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Oil Pollution Prevention (Annex 1) covers a wider scope at present. If all the requirements are complied with, the certificates and survey intervals are detailed as follows:<\/p>\n
